Thread: Programmin language on scripts

    Default Programmin language on scripts

    Hi,

Just to be curious, what program language these .lua tables and scripts use in DeI, C++, Perl, Python? Asking because I really would like to study this scripting more. Trial and error does not get you very far and the syntaxes used are more easily understandadle (and creatable) if you can pinpoint what coding language they are based on.

Lua is the language, MrTimber. See here for more details. As far as I know, it's based on C++, though it's supposed to be easier and faster to learn.

To clarify: it's Lua 5.1. Later versions have some differences.

Thank you OP for the question and thank you Jake for your response. I had been looking for this answer to this question for a minute. I got a ton of reading to do now.
