How to give unique armour to a generic general?

Zhang Lu is originally a generic general.. I was able to change his 3d model and portrait using Sima Liang's model from the 8 princes..

Since he is currently using a generic armour, how to change his armour (the armour art sets) to Sima Liang's armour so so that it'll become unique to him only?.. And can it be done without using DAVE or messing with CEO?
