    Default "Numantia calls its citizens to arms!" bug?

    I'm playing as Iberia. I took Numantia from the Celts and now suddenly Numantia calls its citizens to arms. The advisor is on the screen on every single turn and it gives me troops every turn if I click it. Is this a bug or what? Does anyone know how to fix it? The troops don't pop up as long as I don't click the advisor. But it's still annoying because the advisor is on the screen all the time.

    This is Numantia on the same turn I conquered it.


    On the next turn a advisor appears on the screen.


    When I click the advisor, it tells that Numantia has called its citizens to arms and gives me "free" troops (and the population of Numantia shrinks)


    Here's one of the new commanders - and he's a celt. New generals and troops pop up every single turn if I click the advisor.

    Looks like there is an error with the garrison script triggers.

    Expand your borders, a mod based on XGM 5.

    fix version of Export_Descr_Advice.txt are in new test map modules in Beta Files and Unofficial Patches.

    Hmmm... I downloaded the TrialEconomyVer0.92.rar and overwrote all the files in the Rome TW directory but it didn't fix the problem. I just started a completely new campaign but the problem still exists (if I click the advisor before I conquer the city, all the troops will be Celtic).

    Garrison Numantia is complex garrison script, Spain, Gauls and Indy Celts could called garrison to this place, and Celtiberii was more Celtic than Iberian.

    What I fix in that modules are prevent Spain get free lunch after it conquered this settlement. But look like it has problem in garrison script as well as minor ethnic in character that spawn suppose to be Celtiberii which was part of Celt's sub-tribes, but now it not have Celtiberii.

    If it still spawning army for Spain after Spain already conquered it, please tell me.

    I will upload fix module below.

    It didn't help, the troops still keep spawning although I started a new campaign.

    Garrison script of Numantia will spawn army if Numantia ruled by AI's Iberia or Gauls or Indy Celts. And character it spawn is Celtiberii Celt, no matter what faction is own it.

    They are celtiberii celts due to that area are area of celtic people by definition, unlike iberian who settle on east and southern coast of Iberia.

    If something different from this had happened, please informed me.

    I think the problem is different here Suppanut. It's not the general's trait problem but rather the fact that the script is triggered even when the player owns the settlement.

    I cannot replicated your bug.
    Try deleting map.rwm from your data/world/campaign/(imperial campaign/barbarian invasion/alexander depending on the exe) and start a new campaign.

    The bug occurs although I installed a new OS (Vista -> Windows 7) and thus installed the game again. But I'll try that and see if it works.

    XC uses the Magnus Mundi map, modified a bit afaik.And yes it was a standalone mod for RTW ands still floating around somewhere.
