The other night (funnily enough, the night that you posted a "I am drunk" thread that the mods kept closing ) I had a cocktail with 3 shots of absynth, 1 ameretto, quite appropriatly named the "Harold Shipman".

Absinthe is great on fire too.

Tequila or Sambuca would do the trick if you drink enough. Tequila slammer, salt - tequila - lemon are easy to drink aswell.

Money isnt the question with absynthe, its if you can get it. I get it from Ireland but its illegal to sell it in the UK. Dunno bout the US though.

Absinthe has remained legal in the UK. There are many stories trying to explain why absinthe was not banned. The most likely explanation is that absinthe was a high class drink in the UK. In the UK Absinthe was not associated with the working class or down and outs rebelling so no one saw the need to ban it.

Hmm, I believe in the UK it has been illegal in the past, due to the toxic wormwood in it, but the EU now monitors the amount of toxins in it and it is now legal again, although very difficult to get hold of.

A favourite of mine is a shot that has vodka and mint schnapps, 50/50. I don't know if it has an English name, but in Finnish its called "Niskalaukaus", which means "Neckshot", as in when people are excecuted with a bullet in the neck/back of the head.

Very nice shot.
