Problem installing

Downloaded no problem and have the files on my desktop and can browse in winrar.

If i switch out the Data and preferences folders with the originals and run the game I get a quick glimpse of a new loading screen but the game immediately just stops running as if i didnt start it up.

Help appreciated.

Im a complete novice with mods, go easy.

You should get the installer from here.
Before installing make sure you have a clean install of Rome total war 1.5(Which means nothing has been modified.
When asked point the installer to your rome total war folder(the one where your RomeTW.exe is in).
Then just sit back and let it install and when it is done you should be ready to play if you did everything as i said.
(And just in case you didn't know this,If you want to play any other mods besides SPQR,make copy's of your entire rome directory before installing this,Because this will overwrite most of your files which will cause most mods to not work at all.)
