Thank you very much

quick quote:
CK2 is based upon dynasties, not nations, whereas the EU series is based upon nations. They're both fairly general games (unlike say, HOI which focuses on military, Victoria which focuses upon economy). The main focus of CK2 is increasing the prestige of your dynasty. In EU the main aim is to control as much as possible
Excluding Ck2, Eu3 is arguably the best start for anyone new to Paradox games.
Crusader Kings is much easier to learn.
Proud Nerdimus Maximus of the Trench Coat Mafia.
EU is about managing armies, navies and trade. Crusader Kings is about managing the people in your realm and finding the perfect 16 year old bride for your heir.
As a teenager, I was taken to various houses and flats above takeaways in the north of England, to be beaten, tortured and raped over 100 times. I was called a “white slag” and “white ****” as they beat me.

I aim for 8 year olds myself...

I pretty much play EU3 and CK2 the same way, the only difference to me is the difference between managing how you make money and what you need to do to acquire territory.
I don't get power gamey with marriages in terms of breeding supermen I only marry everyone to people who can inherit a claim that I can use to my advantage. It's now to a point where I only matrilineally marry my daughters.
To me the only difference is how you make money and the scale of the game. However I can play EU3 on a CK2 scale if I choose to, like playing a land empire russia, but the option to have a vast disconnected empire is there. To me marrying people to get claims and taking them is just one more step inserted to declare war for a territory on EU3.
I like both games for the same reasons.
Swear filters are for sites run by immature children.
Every single paradox game i have played have allways been same for me.
1. Build a huge army
2. Ignore everything else
3. Conquer
Must be a bug/glitch or something.
EU3 make CK2's difficulty & complexity look like that of RomeTW.
