Well, it ain`t bad CPU, i5 Q-core 760 2.8 Ghz, OC to 3.1.. I did run a stability test once, it was good at 3.8.. I`ve changed the stock cooler, and put this instead:

Arctic Cooler i30. It keeps it under 40-45 C during summer while gaming, or encoding.
American, French, Israeli and British government's ILLEGAL aggression against the Syrian people, without any proof for chemical attacks in Douma, and without waiting for OPCW to conduct their investigation..
Sons of *******, leave that poor, war torn country in peace.
If you are a citizen of one of these countries, then DO NOT ask any help from me on these forums, since, in protest against this aggression by your governments, I do not provide assistance/help anymore.
Let Syria be finally in peace.

A video of false chemical attack in Douma, Syria, which led to Western illegal attacks.

This utility will allow you to easily enable or disable core parking for your CPU. The first thing that you should do is to go to a resource manager to check if you have parked cores. (intel/amd) Windows 7/8 Codebag (Laptop users this will use more power)

it will thats the beauty of throttlestop, for notebook you can engage the full load of turbo boost or you can let it sleep as much as its possible, since the HDD, ram and other stuff will continue to poll the cpu, and the granularities in between

Good list, a bit outdated though. In the "General Utilities" section, you may want to replace "Open Office" with "Libre Office" now

    Hi everybody,
I could recommend a few additions to this list (all free, though not all open-source):

    LAME, a good MP3 encoder http://lame.sourceforge.net/
FLAC, encodes in FLAC, free lossless audio codec http://flac.sourceforge.net/
CDisplay EX, comic book reader (reads cb7, cbr, cbz, etc. files) http://www.cdisplayex.com/
HandBrake, a free video converter (also from DVD), http://handbrake.fr/
MusicBee, a free music library, podcast downloader, music converter (like iTunes, but with a lot more options, can use custom audio encoders, like LAME) http://getmusicbee.com/
    Daemon Tools, mounts/creates CD/DVD images, http://www.daemon-tools.cc/deu/home
Launchy, very cool launcher, just press alt+space and type, http://www.launchy.net/
    Maxima, for mathematics, http://maxima.sourceforge.net/
    Geogebra, for geometry/functions, http://www.geogebra.org/cms/en/
PDFCreator, for printing to pdf http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/
    Defraggler, for defragmentation http://www.piriform.com/defraggler
Google Drive, Dropbox or SkyDrive for cloud storage: https://drive.google.com/ http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/skydrive/download https://www.dropbox.com/
Speccy, for getting some info on your PC http://www.piriform.com/speccy
    Recuve, for recovering files http://www.piriform.com/recuva
Python Wing IDE 101, for entry level-programming in python http://www.wingware.com/downloads/wi....13-1/binaries
Heaven Benchamrk, for GPU benchmarks, test http://unigine.com/products/heaven/

we are not updating this list for a long time now

In the end I would put a friendly reminder about encoding, and how it only works if you have a high quality file, meaning not mp3, or if you get from the source for ripping

Im slowly changing my music collection from mp3 to ALAC, since I use itunes and itunes home sharing
