Default How to use the mod to the best

    Factions differences:

    • Barbarians are fast and very strong on the first impact but they tire easily and have less morale. They also have strong cavalry.
    • Greek factions are defensive in nature, very strong on the front but weak on the flanks and for mobility. Their cavalry is in general good but not exceptional.
    • Romans have the best sword infantry, good in defense and attack and with strong morale, plus it's armed by the strong Pila and has formations for almost any situation. This gives Romans the great advantage of being highly adaptable to the various situations. However it has two strong weak points: lack of strong cavalry and lack of archers outside of Auxilia.
    • Easter armies have the best cavalry and they have cavalry skirmishers that are very deadly. Their huge drawback is however lack of strong melee infantry. If you plan to win with these factions to key is mobility.

    Formations:

    • For units having formations as Shield Wall or Fulcum don't disable the "Formation Attack" attribute when using them or they will scatter and not stand properly in the formation
    • If the unit can use a formation be sure to always enable it during melee fight as it will greatly enhance defense and lower fatigue
    • When using Shield Wall or Fulcum there's a trick for the unit to come immediately in formation: after enabling the formation just click to the unit you want to attack another time and your unit will immediately come in proper formation (instead of having to wait for it to do this by itself: the AI does exactly the same to immediately group in the formation)
    • If an unit begins to "dance" while in Fulcum or Shield Wall simply press the stop button and it will cease to move while continuing to attack properly
    • Formations as Shield Wall and Fulcum are automatically disabled when running or charge, while Phalanxes are not: take this in consideration if you want to run or use javelins

    More to come soon....
