Thread: What am I doing wrong? Unable to import VariantMeshDefinition.

Default What am I doing wrong? Unable to import VariantMeshDefinition.

I am following this http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...e-Assembly-Kit but for Attila, it seems similar enough.

However, after making and exporting a VMD, when I try to edit a unit uniform and import said VMD, it crashes. Am I doing something wrong or is the Kit at fault?

You can still make a mesh, load it to the right folder, reload tweak and find it under the right list.

I tried to do that as per the instructions on the above tutorial but they didn't show up?

    How?

You make a helmet, save it in your folder for helmets, as in: "Total War Attila\data\variantmeshes\_variantmodels\man\helmets", call it something easy to find, as me bac_awesomehelmet.
Then reload Tweak to see the VDM, in under the helmets selection, to add to the soldier.

then I mean reload, close it and turn it on again.
If you don't have a folder, it is okey to make them.

Oh I was putting them into VariantMeshDefinition (as the tutorial for Rome 2 said). Guess that doesn't work for attila. Thanks!

Ohhh it works don't worry ^^ but it is for the finished VDM, so tweak won't load them ^^

I think it's on their end, I'm having crashes too with that. I posted on the official forum about it. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.
