In other news, belatedly, I have appointed Lifthrasir as Curator's Assistant for the duration of my term. Lifthrasir has twice already diligently performed the role of Curator's Assistant and I am delighted to have him on hand should I be incapacitated or otherwise unavailable. I sincerely thank him for agreeing to come on board!

I think he was saying thank-you on behalf of the Modding Award organisers as he posted the link advertising the voting was open, rather than trying to claim credit for it.

If you are unhappy with his response, then maybe a VM or a PM would had been more appropriate.

I have done what I felt it was needed. From my opinion, that's it, end of the story. No point to waste time on it anymore.

Because, for me anyway, it is apparent that's what he is doing considering his previous post was advertising the awards. It's implied, it doesn't need explicitly mentioning again. Plus, I've interacted with Blastoise a couple of times, as I'm sure you have as part of organising the awards and in Content, and from what I gather it would be out of his character to (especially as he himself is a fellow graphics artist) to try and claim credit for work that wasn't his.

Someone complimented his signature and he said thank you. He is obligated to say who made it unless there is something you not saying, like you told him he could use it for if anyone asked, he must say you made it. I seriously doubt this is the case. I agree on one thing; this is a complete waste of time.

Woah, woah, lets lay off the accusations shall we? Imposing myself? Well if you going to take that attitude, I'll just won't bother helping out with the committee then if you think I'm imposing my will where I should not. It won't be the first time you didn't think I was up for something, now would it? Lets leave it at that.

Yes. A lot less hostile tone via PM would have settle this in a much more private and civil way.

It's important to understand both intent of one poster and interpretation of any other in any situation.

Beyond that, all I have to say is please don't stray into the territory of privacy/SND and let's move on.
