What is the most difficult pc game you ever played?

I'm not sure if it's the most difficult game I've ever played, but I recently tried to pick up Starcraft 2 again, and goddam is it difficult. It's not that the actual game mechanics are difficult, but it's just so fast that I can't keep up with it; having to do multiple things every second, for 10-15 minutes straight. Maybe I'm just getting old. I used to play a ton of Warcraft 3 as a kid, but Starcraft is just a world apart.

Crusader Kings 2. Got rammed in that game hard. It was my first Paradox game so the learning curve wasn't there beforehand.
