Alright quick update: I edited the late dismounted knight unit's shield and changed the use of coifs around.
With the pikemen unit, (dunno if any of you noticed, but the old pictures had a guy missing a torso) I scaled the armor a bit to compensate for the use of jackchains that our glorious modelers added in, to make them a bit more of a commoner unit, but they still have pretty good armor. With the shields however, Im gonna try to see if I can get the modelers to also create a cosmetic buckler shield that sits right beside the scabbard, as I found that the buckler was used as an emergency shield when fighting with a sword in various pike units across the Low Countries. So basically, the units would follow an armor scheme of something like this:
Other than that, I changed a few names around. Compagnie went to Count's Retinue, Burgomasters are Burgomeisters, and the first two tiers of foot-militia and all the bowmen have levy or levies now in the name.
Ill be getting to the gunners using shields issue and Ill probably be using the english longbowmen unit from Burgundy instead of the one from England.
I find the Brewer's Guild Pikemen very interesting as they are using both a pike and a shield. How did they manage that? I am guessing the shield is tied to the arm?
I really like the flemish units! There is one thing that kind of bugs me though. I’m in no way a historian but I think that the flemish lion on the flags, etc are too...modern. Could you maybe use the one from the faction emblem or one from the wiki or the generic flag for the county of flanders or another from the wiki page “Flag of Flanders”?
Most of the preview boxes were empty, but what i did see was utterly incredible work and attention to detail is just amazing work, attention to detail for me makes the game, and this along with what I've seen previewed is unmatched as far as i can see. incredible work all round.

Ah, I did not know that page existed at the time of making Flanders. Sorry to say, but I'm gonna probably not change it for two reasons: first is that I had computer malfunctions all over the place when I was making Flanders, so half of the items I have from Flanders might be corrupted. Second, I probably wouldn't stop at flags. I would probably go through and just redo every instance of every lion I have in the faction, so armor, shields, flags all would have to be updated because I'm a perfectionist like that.
