Windows updates failing to install

For just over a week now I've been trying to install windows update KB4598242 and KB4598291 but the installation never successfully completes, getting a little concerned by this, looking for some assistance, any would be much appreciated thank you

Windows throws up: Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x8007000d)

They don't seem like groundbreaking technological revolutions according to the hotfix info

If it's any consolation I've had the same issues recently but I think Windows generally pushes their own fixes for updates failing to install and then things resolve naturally on their own. I'd only be concerned if it goes on for another week or two.

Try this:
- Clean the "temp" folder
- Clean the "%temp%" folder
- Run Disk Cleanup with system files clean up as well. And swipe any garbage except maybe thumbnail cache.
- Run CCleaner and clean registry.
- Restart and run sfc /scannow command in windows powershell (admin mode)
- Now restart again in safe mode with networking and try to update windows there.
