Once in a lifetime, a sequel comes and it's just right.
We've been waiting for so long for SOMEONE to get it right.
I don't mean the exact carbon-copy of the original, just something barely similar to it.
At last, now we have it.
    Gentlemen, I give you:

    Prey

I was wondering how it really was. Will give it a go since i've heard good news about it. Predator series is one of my favourites.

    Well, this was depressing.
    But well done.

    Top Gun: Maverick (2022)

I think I enjoyed it more than the first one thanks to the higher stakes from the beginning. But I'm starting to get a bit of Tom Cruise fatigue.

I hate Tom Cruise, I hate Top Gun and despite this I enjoyed the movie (Top Gun: Maverick). Material for a thesis I suppose.

What We Do in the Shadows (2014)

It was interesting to see what inspired the series. But doing it in series format fits better.

    Nope

    Exactly what the title says.

Get Out & Us were psychological thrillers.
This was outlandish, overlong and boring.
Jordan Peele is a victim of his own success.
In the end, Nope becomes a parody of itself.

    They/Them

    First 100% WOKE Horror movie.
    Very dull.

    Truth or Dare

    Nah.
    Just nah, fam.
It tries hard to be It Follows but It Fails.
    Lol.

    Open Grave (2013):

    Brilliant.
Still great, after all these years

Amazing movie by Denis Villeneuve: Maelstrom Something between Incendies and a Wong Kar-Wai movie.

Well, I don't know about you guys, but I can't imagine the woman who could spend 50 days locked in a room with me.
    Finally something of substance!
A true exploration of the human experience and what it means to be inside a couple.

    War is hell.
    Brilliant performance from Idris Alba.
    Abraham Attah was great too.

    Beasts of No Nation

    Not a family movie, definitely.

    Final Score (2018)

At first it resembled me Die Hard. Quite a lot of brutal violence. It wasn't so enterteining when they got acquainted with each other but in the end I didn't regret watching it.

    Well, this was unexpected.
Something good came out of 2012, after all.

    Deep, profound, touching and meaningful.
This is a book, a comic and a series.
    Masterpiece.

Fun fact: this series about life before, during, and after a catastrophic worldwide pandemic was filmed before and during (and aired during) a catastrophic worldwide pandemic.

This feels like the spiritual child of Station Eleven.
Only a lot more boring and very long.
    Too long.

    Kinda decent.
Feels like modern day Enemy at the Gates.

    Hope they win.

For something that's been kept out of the public eye, this looks great.
Can't believe this whole thing was improvised.
    Perfect movie.

    Don's Plum

Guess they banned it because it would hurt their careers, right?

Fall: B movie, predictable but very good use of the fear of height

    Brightburn (2019)

This is one way to make a problem-child movie. Wasn't scary for me though.

But I think this one would be a torture to watch for me:
