What mod would recommend for someone who wants to play Judea? I have been wanting to play that faction but not sure what the mod fleshes it out the most. Thanks for the help.

It says I can't hire a specific unit, even though there is enough manpower to do so. Can I get any help? https://gyazo.com/3877e9dca5df6badf649b3492bd49100 <- The Gif associated with that.

    Hello guys

I'm looking for working ai aggressive mod that make the game more challenging but not buggi as hell

So far i found some mods :

A Very Aggressive AI by Thunder Bagel

    https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfil...&searchtext=Ai

This is the only one i try so far and it seems working .
Ai seems really aggressive and actuality attacking you but in mid game starting to act idlely for some reason
And another issue is illogical diplomacy and some times almost impossible

Ultra Aggressive AI (No bonus for AI) by Hecleas

    https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfil...&searchtext=Ai

    Aggressive AI by SCVTVM

    https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfil...&searchtext=Ai

AI improvement: Better & Rebalanced Campaign AI by Nor Dogroth

    https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfil...&searchtext=Ai

    Any suggestions ??? Or opinions
Any one use some a of this mods ??

Impiratora- WARS OF THE GODS- ANCIENT WARS has the most aggressive AI there is. If you use one of the difficulty "Slaughter" sub mods you will have a hell of a time.

How do you guys figure out which battle animations are which? I'm trying to figure out if I can edit this mod here, https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/...?id=1225610503, to get some of the altered sword animations that makes them chop stuff rather than thrust. While some of those animations already happen, some stabbing axe kills still occur from time to time.

Hi there! Haven't played total war now in years... I've been a huge fan of the original rome, played Roma Surrectum, Europa Barbarorum, RTR, etc... Any good mods for Rome 2? Am I better off playing this or Attila?

Im looking for something covering the Eastern Roman Empire, 476 - 1543. And the Holy Hagia Sophi.

    Pillaging and Plundering since 2006

    The House of Baltar

Neither is this the dawn from the east, nor is a dragon flying above, nor are the gables of this hall aflame. Nay, mortal enemies approach in ready armour. Ravens are calling, wolves are howling, spear clashes and shield answers

Hi Team Is there any submods for DEI for the Empire Divided Campaign that makes it more playable?

DEI submod for Legionary units for one of the notable but unfortunately forgetable Roman foes. Pontos. If anyone adapted Roman style and actively used Legionary ways even against Romans themselves that would be Pontos. It is sickening seeing Galatia and Armenia get Legionary Units (Spear and Sword) and not Pontos who actually matched Rome on the field. It is both historically accurate and a nice boost for a faction that deserves some love, making it a true contender for the supremacy in the Anatolian region.

And in general a unit pack for DEI who sometimes forget to make factions enjoyable and historically accurate. Which leads me to a second suggestion.

A mod that nerfs Roman stats. Not to great extend but a good chunk to make them actually somewhat balanced out to the rest of the factions. It is hilarious how they get to be the strongest while in reality they mostly won due to strategy and high moral.

So ideally cut down their armour and melee defense. Let them be a headstrong agressive killing machines, but they should also be killable. It is ridiculous how you can envelop and rear charge them but they barely feel the impact. Okay they have high moral but even then, Romans were never truely better than the rest in armory. Only in its Imperial rule they developed, which maybe you could have their crazy heavy killing machines but capped to 1 just like Royal Spartans.

In short, stop the Roman fanboyism.

You can not tell me that Romans by default are better than any other legionary unit. As if they are godsent genetically better or something. Legionaries of Seleukideoi, Pontos, Armenia or Galatia for example should be a close match, not just a cool visual.
