I tried to watch Silo, but quit half-way through episode 1. And I could have quitted earlier still.
I ing put the ' in the wrong place
Also, restarted to watch Z Nation, as I shamefully stopped at the end of season 1 back in the day
ok ok we all know the zombie theme has been abused to death by now, but this one had a different flavor, atl to my tastes. Might not be as immersive or emotional as other titles, but has that good balance with pure splatter and straight plot that makes it easy to follow.
Also, Murphy
pretty unique character in the genre, atl that I know of

This was fun. Especially well received because it appeared just when half of The Walking Dead episodes consisted of close-ups of the Sherif crying.
Z Nation >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The Walking Dead (Except season 1)
Caution: Content links are adult themed.
Most long running series start to get stupid/super stupid towards the end. You run out of good ideas and then scramble to fill episodes until the series end. I watched "TrueBlood"until halfway thru the last season. I couldn't finish watching cuz there's only so much "stupid" you can take. Now "Z Nation", if you bailed in season one, you bailed too early. It picks up steam in the subsequent seasons.
With Trueblood, all the Vamps want to suck and settle down with Sookie. It's a quality show and well worth watching. Now unless you're really hardcore you might not make it till the end (season 6).
The theme to TrueBlood is a classic so I encourage you all to give it listen.Bad Things.
Now I just saw....

A Lion serves in Winter, then perhaps a Unicorn for the Spring.

then the weight of the evidence will still fall in your favor and carry the day
The Casual Tortoise: Mega's Guide to Fast Turtling
Slow horses : low budget, questionable plot twist, yet quite fun dialogues and gets better from season to season. God bless Gary Oldman.
True Detective s4e1.
Imo this is trash.
Pretty bizarre that they had a rapey scene too, just from the "unexpected" female dominance angle. Somehow makes it better than the other way around?
The show jumps the shark already in the first scene, 2 minutes in. I am unlikely to watch another episode.

some more stuff I watched recently
Keep this in mind, all the people in this movie are idiots. If you are looking for some old school (late 1900's / early 2000's) parody stuff, that's the movie for you. I mean, I think we have gone too far from parody recently, some laughs just because you want to laugh are ok.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage
I enjoyed the first Venom movie more than this one, but this is a good movie too. Woody does a good job, Tom Hardy is a guarantee in general.
Hope they won't make a 3rd installment, that will kill all the good stuff they have done so far, IMO.

Dragon Blade
Not your typical Jackie's movie. Good battles and good acting, I just can't see Brody and Cusack in the roles they have in this movie, frankly speaking.
Not a masterpiece, not a horrible movie, worth a couple of hours of your time if in general if you don't focus on plot.

Morbius
You know I don't like Leto very much, but I have to say, even if he got criticized much for his acting in this movie, this isn't his worst work, IMO. I think that negative critics have to do more with the bad depiction of the character itself.. frankly I'd have preferred the original Morbius, with his dichotomy between the good human and the evil monster, rather than this none sense were they had to create an evil character just to have a different villain (Lucien, played by Matt Smith, who did a good job btw).

You know that you are the only person who has seen this movie after its release (and re-release) in theaters, right?
You mean Morbius? yes, I probably am
The movie got horrible reviews since it came out; as I said it's not a great movie, but it isn't as bad as they depicted it, either. I'm still convinced that the main mistake was not sticking with the original duality of Marvel's Morbius.. also, we all know Leto isn't loved by the critics since long, personally I don't think he's such a great actor, but he's not the worst one (he also won one Academy award, as supporting actor, for his role in the Dallas Buyers Club, just saying).. I believe his "bad reputation" has more to do with his success as a singer and him being more apt for certain roles (he simply doesn't have the correct physique du role for being a villain or a super hero, that is).
