Mines are (pun not intended) a blast. There is one new map, that has a large patch of cover outside of your base (it's a winter map...the center of the map is a lake or something)...I covered it with mines, and placed turrets outside of the cover. Orks charge in, thinking they're taking cover from turret fire, and get blown sky high and shot to pieces. I'll find the replay and post it...

The replay is for, presumably, the most recent patched version of Dark Crusade.

Greatest balance mod out there.
2) Dawn of skirmish. Greatest and only AI mod out there.
Alot better than M2TW AI mods.

Thanks for the mods i didnt know about them , i dled that Ai mod and played a 1v1 on the Harder (2nd highest setting) and that match lasted 12:00 min , but i could see the AI doing dancing and other things to hurt me, i saw it went for a lot of my weakeneses ,like exposed troops etc .Originally Posted by Valentin the II

1 question though , in the AI mod there is another mod called the Heros mod , how do you activate it ? because the readme said i would see the levels that my troops are in the lower right corner and i cant see anything.

Depends on what faction you are playing. Anyway, I can tell you that Space Marine and Eldar always play cheat when you put the AI difficulty to Insane.

Well currently I plan on just playing through the campaign starting from Dawn of War then Winter Assault and then finally Dark Crusade. I dont plan on playing any skirmishes for a while, I just plan on finishing the three campaigns...

I dont think so.
@Jimexander the Mighty: good on you mate, all i can say is the space marines are the best of the best and you can fight off huge numbers of enemys using a smaller force of Space Marines, even the basic tactical squad are useful till the end of the technology tree.
Try to attach your Space Marine Force Commander to the Terminator Assult Squads, and they will kick real ass as that gives him the telporation ability.

Well, let's just say, I'm a Dawn of War Veteran, I might be a little rusty, and I am not playing in the ESL anymore, but let's say... I can still kick a Necron players ass. You will just die from my rush. And while I keep you busy, Possesed Space Marines will be recruited, heretics take the whole map, and you are down ^^
