Calling all DoW players!

I figured more of you would see this if I didn't tack it onto the already existing DoW thread I made...

Anyway, a little while ago I wanted to try and get back into playing multiplayer RTS...I havn't played Warcraft 3 in months and that was the most fun I ever had playing multiplayer. So with my newly found love (DoW) I tried its multiplayer to see if I'd get into that...unfortunately it seemed like no one was online and those that were were insulting each other and calling each other newbs in the chatroom...

Sadly I left and never tried again...

Well, then I though today: "hey there are some DoW players on TWC!"

So, I'd like to know which of you play DoW online and would be interested in either creating a TWC clan or just a casual DoW sort of "club" where those that want to join up simply play each other. If we wanna take on other people that's cool too and if we wanna turn it into something serious or clan-like we can do that too but I need to know how many of you would be interested in this and would wanna give it a shot.

When I sort out my computer (it refuses to let me play online in anything but battlefield and it used to let me play WoW on it, but it seems to disagree with DOW and I get NAT negotiation failures with M2TW) I'll sign up, I have the first one and DC, but can't find WA anywhere.

Well if you have DC that's probably the best...it has all races and a crap load of different maps so I'm thinking we'll mainly use that one unless a majority of those interested only have DoW or WA...

Well, let's just say, I'm a Dawn of War Veteran, I might be a little rusty, and I am not playing in the ESL anymore, but let's say... I can still kick a Necron players ass. You will just die from my rush. And while I keep you busy, Possesed Space Marines will be recruited, heretics take the whole map, and you are down ^^

That's why I stopped playing DoW. That and because my young brother-in-law destroyed the dvd while using it as a cup holder (true, sad story).

So, anione up for a game against the tau(me)?

Well, it is a very good idea to form a TWC clan and I will be very interesting to join. However, I am seriously doubt we have the skill to win other internet players... I mean, I tried the mutiplayer before, and honestly I love it, but the players overthere are... playing in an insane way... no, above insane level...

I can only play DC but I think its ok.
BTW: We could play on "DC: Pro", I plaid it for so long that I forgot about the original DC. Its very well balanced to, sins it was specificaly created with multiplayer games in mind.

Ok - so from what I've seen here the people who are in/interested are:

*Note* We MUST have the whole idea of numbers by at least Saturday morning (my time) so if you're interested either post on here or send me a PM so that I can add your name to our amazing "official" roster here (haha).

Ok, so those interested I need to know some things:

1) Which of the DoW games do you own and CAN play online?
2) Do you have an existing account? If so, what is your name? Are you willing to change either your account or name to fit the clan/club?
3) What kind of IM app do you have? AIM, Yahoo, MSN, etc?
4) Ideas for clan/club names*
5) Would you be in support of proposing the expansion of the Circus Maximus (sub-forum) to include a little space for our DoW clan/club?

Please reply to these questions and such within the next day or so (especially those on the list please)

*Clan/club names should not be DoW or 40k race specific names. Our clan/club will most likely be a combination of different players with different skills and different favorite races (thus no names like: The TWC Blood Angels and such)

I have both DOW and DC but not WA. From what I've heard, that means I can't play as the Imperial Guard. That's ok though at least I can play as the Space marines or the Tau. BUT...it's going to be really hard for me to play DOW/DC without any mods. I guess I can...*sigh*...try.

Nope. You need to INSTALL both DoW and WA if you want to play other races online using DC. Without install the both games first, DC would not ask the CD keys.

Anyway, I cannot join the clan until August 13th, since I am in vacation now!!
