Adding new units to battle models file
hi there
If I am adding a new unit to the battle models file
the line at the top of the file refers to the number of entires
example, 22 serialization::archive 3 0 0 0 0 756 0 0
but if Im adding a unit with say two upgrade levels, do I increase the the bold number by 1 or by 3 (one for each upgrade level inc the starting one)
many thanks
Jason

Re: Adding new units to battle models file
I have worked that way so far. I believe the game sees them as completely different entries, not upgrades of the same unit.

Re: Adding new units to battle models file
Yeah, you'd have to add three to the top number.
As an aside, if you're editing the modelsdb file, I would really suggest downloading KnightErrant's Formatted Modeldb and Syntax checker
It requires Python which is easy enough to install and basically it will take your modeldb and format it for you and you can check it to to see if the serialization number at the top is correct or whether the strings count is off.
Very handy.
