Watching Scorsese's Casino again as we speak. You've gotta love the De Niro/Pesci/Frank Vincent triumvirate.

    Pandorum.

I enjoy Sci Fi. This movie might be the best SciFi horror movie since Alien. I think the movie could have been trimmed down some, but I enjoyed it.

"Therefore I am not in favour of raising any dogmatic banner. On the contrary, we must try to help the dogmatists to clarify their propositions for themselves. Thus, communism, in particular, is a dogmatic abstraction; in which connection, however, I am not thinking of some imaginary and possible communism, but actually existing communism as taught by Cabet, Dézamy, Weitling, etc. This communism is itself only a special expression of the humanistic principle, an expression which is still infected by its antithesis – the private system. Hence the abolition of private property and communism are by no means identical, and it is not accidental but inevitable that communism has seen other socialist doctrines – such as those of Fourier, Proudhon, etc. – arising to confront it because it is itself only a special, one-sided realisation of the socialist principle."

Even when I have nothing to do, I don't watch catch that many movies. I like to savor my movies, like a fine wine. Mixed with some zombie flesh and green ectoplasm.

It must be because I am a SportsCenter junkie. Raging at SportsCenter and their insane love affair with Brett Favre....

Saw Surrogates yesterday and I'm honest about this: it's his best film in 9 years. Since Unbreakable he has continued to play in films (with exception of Sin City) such as Bandits, 16 Blocks and the god-awful Live free or die hard. I think the ending makes this film special, like the The Sixth Sense.

Die Hard 1 & 2 were good but 3 & 4 were unneeded. I just finished watching Clint Eastwood in Dirty Harry.

    True Romance.

Excellent movie with a brilliant soundtrack.

If you've not seen it, get it watched.

LOL, back in the days I won 2 tickets on a radio-show for that movie.

The question was: name three movies starring Sylvester Stallone? My answer: Rambo 1, 2 and 3.

btw. This was before all media went loco with overly easy sms-quizzes, and the radio station was so small they didnt even pay the bill at the theater. At least thats what the register-lady said to me after making some phone-calls for being anxious to let us in or not.

Anyway I liked it allot back then.

    Krabat

A movie based on a great novel/fairy-tale by Gottfried Preussler. The movie was meh, but I didnt expect they could bring the book to the screen properly anyway.

I just saw The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, a classic starring Humphrey Bogart in the lead role as Dobbs. It's one of the best movies I've seen, and I recommend it to all. It's the classic tale of greed gradually corrupting an individual. I wish more adventure movies of this mold were made today....
