What a fascinating and unique contribution! It wanders oddly into fantasy, but manages to tread the line between true historical fiction and unreality. I like the short, almost Biblical descriptions of days, events, actions, etc.
Are you planning on moving this into a larger story, or is it complete? If the former, keep at it! If the latter, tell me so I can put it in the Gilded Hall archives.

Thank you Monarchist. I really wasn't sure what to expect by posting in here as far as replies, but thanks for the kind words.
As for the story, well let's just say it's on hold... it was essentially the start of a role that was to be played out in the forum. There could be a second addition later in time, but I would have to assemble it from the interaction of game play.
I'll consider doing that when I have some time.
Edit: By the way, I am open to criticisms. Know there are some spelling and sentence arrangements that could be reworked better as it is narration.
Nice, original, well-worded and entertaining. Good job Armatus.
Oh yeah, I'm going to be gone for about the next 3 weeks.
"So there I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopowner and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really. But, sure enough, I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show."

Well it's been on hold as the rpg never continued so I had no further material to add.
Sorry, so what did you think? I'm open to critizism.
You already know my views on this piece, my friend. So, do you wish me to log this as "finished" in the Gilded Hall archives?

Oh yes that's fine, I'll call it finished then.
Wonderful.. I think I may look over it
Great, feel free to pick it apart and or siege against my fortress of personalized grammar
In accordance with the wishes of the author of this story, I declare it finished.
