Default The Aesthetics of the Volga-Bulgars

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone has some pictures or references of the Bulgarian military from the early to high medieval period. Needless to say, they were a powerful faction during this period, beating most comers (several times, often in crushing victories) until the Golden Horde. I did look for images online, but did not quite get the depth I wanted. I also looked at the Bulagaria TW, and that helped, but I am ultimatley curious how they will look in BC. They appear largely to fall into line with the look of most eastern christian kingdoms, are their any unique characteristics that they have in terms of appearance? I'm a very aesthetic gamer, and I always admired BC for making distinctions among the faction units in all aspects.

    You fellas have anything?

Here are three examples of light horsemen unit; drawings were made by someone from Marka team, authors of Rusichi TW. They allowed us to use their graphics as a reference in unit making:

I'm posting only three, because I don't want to reveal too much.

Though I'm not sure now whether they weren't posted already on some Russian forum...

Why does their armour have to look so cool compared to the Turks?
