yeah Thailand has some pretty interesting stuff. My parents grew up there and they took me to see stuff around Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Only thing I can't stand about that place is the inner city traffic and heat but other then that its all good, love the food, love the culture, did i mention i love the food?

yeah, thx u Antissa lol, i was so tired i posted this in the wrong subforum. lol

@ Miraj, the date is uncertain but by 1300s it was already very ancient, cities around that area of Central Thailand are really old some date back since the pre-Indianization period after the Bronze Age and we made it our capital from 1300 to late 1700s. A lot of tourists, chances are you wont be the only white guy on the streets. There are even Japanese tourists in the most random of places (some forgotten insignificant ruins in the bush in some alley. lol Ayudhya's current issue is Progress vs. Preserve, they have many many cargos and import-export companies and stuff and also factories in their suburbs. Before they realized they were screwing up their sceneries they already turned many canals into paved asphalt roads.

an elevated corridor connecting edifices within the walls together.

one of the gates into the ancient royal temple/palace

Buddhas decaying in time...from a ruined-chappel i happened to walk across...

an ancient fortress, part of the walls, under renovation, the walls of Ayudhya were so big even though for most parts they are not in such a perfect condition but their thickness is actually about 4-laned road, nowadays there are even 1800-1900s houses built on the walls, when the Burmese hordes attacked us in 1700s it took them a year blasting the walls with cannons and another 2 weeks burning the foundations of the walls until they collasped. The city was so heavily damaged by their sack that the capital had to be moved to Bangkok. Satellite images show many treasures buried underneath the modern city, the gold-artifacts museums awesome, ill upload more pics.

a relative of mine whom i called up to be my driver when i was in Ayudhya lol

    oh... i have some guests....gtg
