Making Rebels act more like minor factions
Hi there,
Is there any way to make Rebels act like true local powers ? I know it's Total War but, in every game, they are being invaded too easily by other factions. I want some regions to remain independents after turn 100.
What I thought to do :
- Add unlimited money and king's purse to the Slave faction
- Switch the ai_label to something other than 'slave_faction' (switch to 'default' ?)
- Making them neutral with everyone at the start of the campaign
- Switching the difficulty to a less aggressive one (Medium or Hard)
- Switching the campaign AI to 0.8 CAI which seems to me to be less aggressive.
Any other thing ?
Am I the only one to want the Rebels to be stronger ?

I am not sure about how viable it would be to make the rebel faction act like an active AI faction, but if it would be possible for them to invade neighboring provinces from time to time that would be neat.
Perhaps if capturing settlements is overboard for rebels, merely besieging them would be enough.
