Re: BETA release | DOWNLOAD v0.9 |
This mod would be perfect if it had the "Disable RR, AoR ON/OFF" options like the bugfix compilation has :(
After having put so many hours into these games, having the better (looking) units unlock so late just takes too much time.
I beg you, add RR/AoR options into the launcher!

Note: For some mysterious reason the texture for the Novgorod banner symbol is missing in the SS base installation (the repack uses the Kievan symbol instead) which may cause submods to crash with the following error:
Code:
[system.io] [warning] open: mods/ss6.3/data/models_strat/textures/#banner_symbol_novgorod.tga is missing
[data.invalid] [error] Insufficient video memory to load requested texture set.
This patch fixes the above issue.
Does this download include the beta patch in the first page of the download .
Re: BETA release | DOWNLOAD v0.9 |
It's not in my Readme you quote, so short answer is 'NO':
Base set up - 31st Jan 2018
- Titanium_Alpha_v0.85
- Titanium_Alpha_v0.85_Patch1
- Titanium_Alpha_v0.85_Patch2
- G5_Settlement_Tweaks
This drop box download from the bottom of the opening post however might.

Re: BETA release | DOWNLOAD v0.9 |
Am I to understand that this setup file already contains Stainless Steel 6.4? Do I have to install SS before this Titanium install file? I am asking because the various installation guides found on the internet give different answers.
Re: BETA release | DOWNLOAD v0.9 |
Can you also increase archer ammo from 20-25 to 70-100? I read that archers would historically carry around that number. And it makes more sense, anyway. After I did that mod, horse archers are very effective vs. knights in open field battles, just like they were historically
Re: BETA release | DOWNLOAD v0.9 |
Also, could you make the entire recruitment pool of soldiers be available to be used in siege defense battles? That would make defending cities much easier, both for the AI and the human. For example, if I have a castle and there are 2 units of knights in it, and 3 units of knights and 3 armored spearmen in the recruitment pool, all 5 units of knights and 3 units of spearmen would be available to defend the castle at a moment's notice, but without the constant upkeep cost of having all the solders recruited.
Also, maybe make the iron gates and walls have 10x more hitpoints so it doesn't take 30 seconds to knock them down with a simple battering ram lol

Can you upload the unpacked files so I can directly copy+paste it into the Mods folder? I'm using Steam on Linux so no windows for me
