Re: TGC - The Great Preview - 01.12.2019 + St. Nicolaus Day Special
Hi,
just to let you now - seems you send me the wrong files . After edding them iīve only get vanilla city battlemodels, but i figured out why.
In EoR "Greek" isnīt used by the Eastern Roman Empire. They use the "southern_european" culture instead. So i copied from the Danube Limes the models for this culture and imported them to both, greek and southern european culture in TGC for now.

That's weird as i don't remember if i sent "Greek" or "Southern_European" to Tsardoms Total War.
But they showed me the correct Roman textures for the walls- stone walls should have the white/red Roman colors. I might need to check up on their project again.
Re: TGC - The Great Preview - 01.12.2019 + St. Nicolaus Day Special
the vanilla textures are shared for greek and southern european settlements. they are found in the blockset folder. so i guess they added the textures and have vanilla cities with new textures?

Yes, the textures aren't vanilla though- but they may have been shared still. EoR had unique textures but used vanilla walls, and DBM custom settlements. I believe that the colosseums were removed but i'm not 100% sure.
Re: TGC - The Great Preview - 01.12.2019 + St. Nicolaus Day Special
Will this version have Constantinople as custom settlement ?
Re: TGC - The Great Preview - 01.12.2019 + St. Nicolaus Day Special
No, thatīs a dream. iwte settlementcreators are more interested in fantasy settlements

Looking forward to the mod. I'm going to play as the Eastern Roman Empire for sure.
About the campaign- would it be possible to enable hotseat? Hyrule Total War is built on heavy scripts (the old version that my submod is based on) and it doesn't have a problem with hotseat. So hotseat should work in TGC i think.
Re: TGC - The Great Preview - 01.12.2019 + St. Nicolaus Day Special
hotseat is standard by default in TGC. the options are needed in coding and transition (factionevolution)

year, currently look for the last parts being tested with the new DBM/EoR minor settlements aka forts in TGC and then the alpha version will be made ready.
AnthoniusII health is in a bad condition atm, so we will definitly patch his work in the near future together with text corrections delivered by antonius and more stuff still in the pipe.

Are you sure? Because in the 2017 version i'd get a message "select one faction only" when trying to launch a hotseat-campaign. It's like the game doesn't allow more than one faction to be played at once.
Re: TGC - The Great Preview - 01.12.2019 + St. Nicolaus Day Special
thats an intended code to use hotseat features and pretend to be a normal campaign.
to use real hotseat, it maybe break some mechanism in TGC for now. but i never looked
