I don't think we'll ever see naval battles again. They simply didn't work and weren't very fun.

My money is on "yet another horde faction". Just call it "Tomb King Expedition" or something.
Making a rough ETA on patches public is just good conduct. Look at Paradox an der Dev Diaries or Blizzard and their Patch Test Realms. Even just saying "We don't know when we're finished with the...
The trick seems to be, ironically, NOT to get involved with Empire politics at all. It's a mire that'll only drag you down. The less you sign alliances, the less likely you'll be dragged into...
I'm fairly certain SEGA had a say in who CA does or doesn't work with. And there is nothing wrong with GWs implementation of female units to begin with.
This obsession with female units in TW is getting out of hand. You should direct your complaints at GW, not CA, this time because they're just doing it the way it is in the tabletop.
I've had quite a bit of trouble getting my Empire campaigns off the ground. Usually the other human factions will field twice your stacks and happily bumrush you with them every chance they get. A...
The Ai will always be better at micro managing movement on the campaign map (and movement of multiple units during battle) than a human, so it really shouldn't be able to zip around via forced march...
Huh, I forgot about tribute income. When I tried reviving tribes up north they either got stomped by the dwarfs that run around there or destroyed each other. If only they were as OP as the regular...
Three stacks of Chosen would be roughly 20k Favor just in upkeep per turn. Where do you find enough settlements to pillage to get that much Favor?
My Chaos campaign lasted 350(!) turns because the Empire kept recolonizing ruined provinces and I only had a single stack, albeit of elite Chosen, to chase after them for 90% of the game. Even with...
Do you autoresolve? I'm fairly certain beating a VC army in a straight up fight should totally wipe them out since they can't rout. AR probably doesn't take crumbling into account.
The whole "Release faction, get betrayed 10 turns later" issue has been a thing since... At least Rome 2, really. How hard is it to add a flag in the files "diplomacy = 0" for say 50 turns.
I'm only playing on Hard but every time I fight the Vampires as a different faction they never seem to crumble after their leader dies. Sure, some eventually start to but it takes AGES. In return,...
Worst of all, it feels like something is off with the success chances you're presented with.
The "Three agent types" system was stupid to begin with and should have been dropped after SH2 anyway.
Warcraft Orcs are more Tolkien-esque than Warhammer Orcs, for one, and that separation only grew over time into the "noble savage" type we have today. Warhammer Orcs were designed as straight up...
Call me desensitized but I simply don't care anymore if somebody feels the need to result to ad hominem crap. I achieved a sort of Zen-like inner calm about that sort of stuff. My only real concern...
Is there any word on the DX12 patch? All I was able to find was that it's to be added "soon" after launch.
The complaint about fast battles has SOME merit and there's already a mod that's supposed to slow them down. Different forums just have different cultures. Personally I just ignore those complaints,...
The campaign elements are much simpler this time. There's basically just money and public order, plus Vampiric Corruption if you're a VC. Buildings have no negatives so you don't have to fiddle with...
The sieges work more in the style of Shogun 2 where units magically pull ladders out of their behinds so they can climb up. I have no issue with that. Towers are strong but much easier to flip to...
Is it possible to tie officers or visual changes in general to technology? I remember that VC have to research Undead Champions for their units but there is no cosmetic change, i.e. no champion...
People will flock to communities that line up with their general attitude. If you want a Happy-Special-Fun-Super time you can go to Reddit or the official forums, where criticism is frowned upon.

Ha, I spent a few turns during my VC campaign hunting Orcs and look what this lead to:

I'm allied with both dwarves and humans. I guess absolutely everybody hates...
Well there IS the ally/enemy coloring in the options. But yes, the MP should at least have an army painter like Dawn of War did. Buuuut that will most likely be DLC.
Against my better judgement I bought this and... Well, I expected the worst and got a decent game instead so that is nice. Performance for me (FX8320, R9 280, 8gb RAM) is slightly better than Attila...
I'm not sure how the flow of money works in the case of refunds on Steam but affecting the bottom line is usually the best way of making a company act quickly.
I mean, I'm not saying CA wouldn't...
The more people refund, the more CA will be forced to put a patch out quickly.
Still no windowed borderless mode huh?
We will have to wait and see how CA introduces Elven factions. I very much doubt they'll expand the map to include Ulthuan and Naggaroth however. Magic and flying units are ultimately impossible...

Seems to me their blog post about optimization was a little overenthusiastic.
The Call of Warhammer people could.
Holding off for a week or two and watching the reactions from others is the only prudent thing to do.
There's been a streak of underwhelming games lately and often enough the deeper flaws only...
Looks good except for the Forced March stance. Forced March has always been problematic to say the least.
edit: Ignore, I'm a dum-dum for not reading the description on the screenshots
If it's roughly on the level of Attila I'll be okay with it. If it's on the level of Charlemagne, it'll be great. But anything beyond that seems extremely unlikely.
I'm 100% certain they will add a Chaos Factions DLC later on.
That's no excuse though. There's a reason the tabletop uses square bases instead of round bases after all.
Units still cant keep a formation. Fine for Orks, not so fine for the Empire. Especially on spear- and halberdmen. Also no proper volley fire on musket units.
It finally supports 64 bit systems, so that is a big help.
I'd disagree with that, despite liking Atilla. The footage I've seen shows the exact same issues all Warscape games have, so no improvements on that front. In fact, it looks like a few steps...
