Would it be possible to get 4 gun, 48 man artillery batteries?
With Lylax's mod I keep having 12 man batteries with 2 guns, although the ammo situation is better.
I'm not seeing all of the borders for some reason. I can see a settlement owned by another clan, but it looks to be within the borders of the same settlement of my clan with no discernible line.
The largest battles in Anglo-Saxon England had a couple thousand men. Most were cattle raids, ambushes, or skirmishes. The times that field armies did clash, the shield walls were also not very...
So if I understand, TATW now works with these files, but DAC does not?
Could I still play DAC if I just autoresolve sieges?
So for my city militia (spears and crossbows) a blacksmith will still give them leather armour and brigantines and stuff?
I think Late Antiquity is way more interesting than the period Rome 2 is set in. I know the release of Rome 2 made people gunshy with Attila, and may CA didn't lend the support they could have, but I...
I can't edit, so I'll have to double post.
This is a great review that sums up how smart historical game design can provide authenticity without players worrying about the calibre of their...
I want them to trust the community to appreciate a title with the campaign built from the group up around challenge, nuance and historical authenticity, if not accuracy. Paradox titles are a good ...
The next Saga could be a game changer.
I'm really pleased with Jack and his team's focus on historical fidelity in the art design. They clearly have some good researchers and care about their...
I know it's an internet joke at this point about the "ideas guy" but I study late antiquity and the early middle ages at university. If there's any books you need dug up I can take a crack at it. I...
Hate to double post, but I can't edit yet, but I just thought of a quick example.
In Rome 2, Attila and Britannia you can tell that people seriously sat down and used all kinds of resources to...
If there was a DEI or FOTE for Britannia, it would be absolutely my favorite TW title, easily.
The Early Middles Ages are fascinating and there is so much potential here. I felt the same way...
Would it be possible to get a building/settlement guide?
Just small things:
What's the difference between a church and a monastery? Is there a difference between Priests recruited with one or the...
Coming From New TW, Need Help
I'm a big fan of the mod. I started getting into TW mods with the deeper mods for the new titles (DEI for Rome 2, FOTE for Attila) and am working my way back.
I...
I'm just blown away how the teams from Ancient Empires (Attila) and DEI (Rome 2) have cooperated in a way, for years now, that has brought an antiquity Total War I would never have dreamed about to...
I'd just like to bring this thread back from the dead to ask a quick, kinda meta question.
I've been playing TW titles since Rome, but it wasn't until the addition of Steam Workshop support that...
So does it exist anywhere?
I don't know if this helps, but I study Late Antiquity, and have a lot of resources in my collection, plus more at my department and library.
I've done research for the Late Antiquity mod for CK...
