Can i use mods like the dust and blood mods, or use gemfx if i only use it for AA?
How does that work, do they force you to take the mod down if you don't lock it?
Even though you guys are using a diferent map? If so, that's unfortunate.
So uh, you guys need new unit models?
I know the the lancers arent supposed to be used as shock cavalry, i'm just saying that it's very difficult to use them because by the time they win the cav fight they're exhausted and useless. They...
@Dresden
But the thing is, attila runs awfully bad, so i'm happy with them using rome 2 as a base. Besides, the dlc is basically what's funding the new power and politics update and looks to be...
Honestly, the rock paper shotgun review seemed to be looking thru warhammer tinted glasses. That said, he makes some good points about unfixed bugs and AI, but he also underestimates how many new...
Yeah, i prefer cards that are drawn, over cards that are a screenshot.
The notable exception being grand campaign rome 2 cards.
It just kinda sucks because i like cavalry.
Personally i like the new empire divided cards even more than even divide et impera cards. I love the Charlemagne style used.
I actually really like the new unit cards
Somehow the factions look even more garish and weird than normal rome 2.
I should mention i'm using the steam version of divide et impera and as such this might not be consistent with the newest version.
1: My cav is really bad for some reason, for example, my lancers will lose 20 on the charge with greek light cavalry but still win. That sounds really good at first right? Well the problem is that by...
Hello, i got a quick question. How fleshed out is parthia? When havoc reviewed them they seemed pretty barebones.
Go for Arabia, it eventually worked for me.
Good choice, Parthia has some great looking infantry i must say.
I would also recommend to give takshashila a try eventually. They have very aggressive infantry and have elephants which can be used...
I hope he's right, the rome map certainly had a fair bit more to it.
I would love a performance boost.
Too bad about the chariots.
What i mean by late game roman troops is essentially just a degradation of troop quality which would be reflected in models. Essentially after a certain point you high...
Ok, to go with the theme, let me rephrase what i said.
WHAT, will you do with chariots and dismounting?!
WHAT, are the late period roman units if any?!
WHAT, are the end game events?!
Question number one: Can you dismount your troops off the Britain chariots? Many British tribes used chariots where you would have 1 "driver" and 1 or more warriors who would throw and shoot...
I think having women in more poorly trained units like low tier levy is a great idea. I also agree the scythia should have a smattering of women in their units.
At any rate *crunch* i will be...
Except you can't really mod warhammer except for maps.
I see.
I was talking about naked longswords.
So i noticed that people were playing with patch 1.5, is it a closed access or something like that? I mean, it would explain all the multiplayer botet games that are incompatible.
Well, incombat they tend to outlive the more expensive heavier units, so that moral is definitely counting towards something. How much of a difference does 6 points of armor do?.
Whoops, sorry got sword followers confused with chosen swords, question still stands though.
Can't give screen shot sat the moment, but i can give you the moral difference. Naked longswords have a moral stat of 98 while the chosen swords have a moral of 69. Not to mention naked longswords...
The heavily armored ones don't do so well in a siege battle due to how skittish they are. Often they will break after losing only 50 men due to the debuffs they suffer from being surrounded..
It's still not much of a difference. The naked longswords are far better in combat, why would i chose the heavily armored units?
Yeah, but there is only like a 2-4 point difference. It just seems like a better idea to use the unit with nearly double moral.
I have a question.<br>What's the point of getting the more expensive armored units when at the moment naked spearmen and naked longswords just have plain better stats and moral? I can get sword...
Well, not in a siege battle. Kinda makes them obsolete in multiplayer though i completely understand the restrictions.
Sorry for all the questions, but how would this be balanced for multiplayer? In a 1v1 with max funds the roman player is going to have a very clear edge over the barbarian player. Is there some other...
So,basically attack 1 roman stack with 2 barbarian stacks? what if they have a reinforcing stack? I think ima gonna need to upgrade my computer.
I'm not complaining i'm just saying that due to the low damage missiles do they can't really pose a threat to roman leagonaries. I'm not making i a suggestion i'm just asking you the barbarians are...
So, how will barbarian factions be able to take cities from factions like rome and Macedon? At the moment barbarian factions have trouble winning in that scenario due to all the chokepoints which...
Artillery too.
