Well medieval Serbian army wouldnt be like that at all...
Kings guard and noble cavalry would be classic HC with heavy mail+partial scale armor, mounted on a war horse with light scale protection. Other then that there is no other HC. Infantry is combination of heavy inf (more with spears and axes then with swords), medium infantry with shields n spears and light skirmish infantry. Most of the archers would be light foot units specialized in woods combat and ambushing. Some of light cavalry as HC and scouts. Except kings guard, most of the army is armed with axes n maces for melee fights.

Army is kinda mix of ERE and Hungary/HRE styles. Same goes for armor and arms. Hopes this helps

Isn't this more 1300/1350+ style of army?

Would love to see what sort of units your Serbian army would consist of.

Do you have any of the more "normal" units ready yet? The ones you've shown so far, while very pretty, are all very heavily armored for the time period SSHIP takes place in.

Regarding the Battle of Tara in 1150, Joannes Kinnamos talks about Hoplites (i.e Heavy Infantry) in the Serbian lines, indicating both that such existed - and also that they would've been quite rare.
I was almost ready to release my work some weeks back, but after a more in-depth research i 've done (Its true that the units presented curently are closer to the late medieval era than the early one)
i changed my mind and started working again in order to be more accurate historically.
As for now i have some units reworked so far and i am going to show you in the coming days some of the latest that i am working on..

    Regarding Serbian arms and armour:
As wikipedia mentions, by the writtings of several Byzantine sources (Anna Komnene, Niketas Choniates, Eustathios of Thessalonica, Michael of Thessalonica) of the twelfth century,
Serbian army in several cases are seen fully armoured (katafraktoz ) and wearing mail masks, as in battle of tara (1150).
My conclusion, through writtings as the above and several pictures found from frescoes like the one you presented and others, Serbians were very influenced by the Byzantine style, especially regarding armours.
Regarding weapons, they used all kind especially spears, axes, maces, and bows, but in several cases some soldiers also used swords (talking about early medieval).
In the Later medieval times when they become more dominant in the balkans, they were having in their armies many mercenaries from west and as such they were using more western like arms and armours than before.

In conclusion yes! This is correct as i see it. So All these things mentioned are going to be reflected (as best) in the units that i am working.

Thank you both very much for your comments and infos provided!

I am always more than happy to see suggestions and facts, regarding historical accuracy..

Why is the archer's right sleeve so long and his left sleeve so short?

Cuz heis left arm runs through the cut in the sleeve in the elbow area, while the right one obviously not.

That's because he wears it as the Scotts did with their leine. Basically, that's a long shirt with very long sleeves with a hole in the middle. If the man need to have free movements, he puts his arms through the holes (left hand) but to protect him against the cold, he can leave his arms inside the sleeve (right hand).
Scotts and Irish used to do that as well.

The both sleeves have the same length. The archer has one arm inside and the other arm goes through the hole of the sleeve.

    Because they didn't have gloves...

I didn't think there was a left sleeve, since you can't see it, so I thought he would put his left arm into the right sleeve, which is extra long for that purpose.

Still comparing to the leine from Scotts, in combat, the highlanders used to attach it between their legs and, regarding the sleeves, they used to wrap the extra length around their arms.
