you need to find the unit you wish to unlock in the export_descr_buildings.txt in the data folder.
Then you need to find the event with which it gets unlocked. After that, go to data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign\descr_events.txt.
Open it, and change the date of the event to something you like.
Note that this is not intended and might introduce bugs.
