    Default Faction Symbols tutorial

Is there a tutorial on how to create faction symbols for the menu? (fe_buttons_24, fe_buttons_48, fe_buttons_80)

All those tutorials are useless without images.

They all worked well before ImageShack decided to go full retard and remove or block all the older images hosted there. What a shame how greed drove such a good service into general hatred.

Still, the tutorials are descriptive enough, and if you have the files open as you work along and follow the tutorials, then there is no need for illustrations.

This template from B.Ward has been helpful for me - it provides a base shield (PSD - multiple layers) which then can be applied to a background. Basically a simple copy\paste operation from there on.

The 4 tgas for one set can be used to achieve various effects, eg putting a portrait over the CoA in the 'roll' pic will have the portrait appear when you 'mouse' over the symbol. 'select' has the highlight effect usually. Only the dimensions of the picture should stay unchanged.

Edit: eventually found the stuff from Capper I was looking for.
    Edit2: link is dead, damn
Edit3: uploaded my copy to TWC Download Center, link on the page
