release date (31. December 2016) is probably wrong though

Great find.

That actually confirms some of my predictions. It shreds some light on the fractured empire gameplay (I guess the emperor will control Reikland/Altdorf). As others pointed out a Greenskins players might grow in numbers and power as he shows his force as Grimgor, and there is still not much said about the Vampire Counts. Could it be that they start small and get access bigger armies as other factions have casualties in battles to make it some sort of late-game monster?

Chaos sounds more and more as the equivalent of Realm Divide for Warhammer.

By the way, the last sentence is interesting. Not a word of diplomacy is also worth noting.

That said, I think December 2016 is waaaaaaaaaay to late. As you say it's most likely wrong (there is no way the are releasing it the 31), but I hope it's not even close. It's usually not a great idea to wait that long since the announcement. I remember how hyped I was when they released the first Diablo 3 gameplay trailer and by the time they released it I just did not care about it anymore. Gamersgate's "Coming Soon" is more heartwarming.

That has been known since the announcement and it's not really a dlc cash scheme. Makes all the sense in the world.

IF the factions are truly unique. Starcraft has only 3 factions. The first Warhammer TW will already have 4. And most likely some 4 more will be added with each expansion.
