Icon5 Sicily in High Era Campaign

Hello everyone, I love the mod but I have a few questions.
1- Is high era campaign complete? people say its not and its unpolished but what kind of polish does it require?
2- You can choose sicily in the high era campaign but the lore says HRE controlled those lands so whats going on?
3- My relations go down with factions ( even my allies!!) everytime i try to expand and my allies betray me everytime they see a unguarded city. How to prevent this? ( I have savage AI)

Almost all the things? I mean it works but the starting positions, characters etc are not done yet, a few things were changed but you still have people from centuries ago etc.

You can, but the faction controls nothing so there's nothing at all you can do there.

Yeah and unless something's changed that's the only AI you can get as SSHIP puts that one in and no others. You can store a stack in the city (so it isn't unguarded) or murder everyone (so no allies to betray you).

Thanks for that. Now I have bigger problems tho. It seems the population system is broken and I am getting plagues on nearly all my cities

If you don't build/upgrade buildings with health bonus, that happens regularly especially for large towns and above.

But there has to be a way to remove it right? This is such a major bug, idk why nobody is complaining about it.

Ps. Can you add some better units to rum? They cannot do anything against the op roman spearmen.

Technically It may not be a bug but you gotta admit it's ridiculous and unrealistic. So much for the "Historical Improvement" part of the mod i guess

It actually blows my mind how you refuse to admit that this issue should be fixed. The game is not fun when your generals and elites die from random plagues every 3 turns. If that is not constructive, idk wtf is

    2 things:
    1. we have a very limited amount of sickness/disease that can be represented in game. There's no famine, no meadow, etc...
    2. tell me how is it unrealistic to have a big or huge city without any structure/building for health and without disease? I think there are enough records through history proving that fact.

Isn't the plague thing just hardcoded?

Definitely do not stack your reserves etc in a settlement, that's for sure.

The Black Death is hardcoded. The local plague is a random event/script or similar stuff. It appears once the requiered conditions are met. I'm not sure that that one is hardcoded.

Not sure where the chance of a RNG plague is referenced in an editable manner though, let alone the health/population-RNG link.

descr_disasters has something, though looks like just RNG
    Code:
    event plague
    frequency	20
    winter false
    summer false
    min_scale	1
    max_scale	4

I think that you can only edit how the Black Death spread through the map (origin, where it expands, how fast, etc...).
Regarding the local plague, I think that you can only edit its frequency. I'm not a specialist about events.

Anyway, we won't change this feature just to please one person. There are enough tutorials in the workshop to let him do himself if it is what he wants.

Yeah, I was surprised as I have 90% of the map and only occasionally see plague occur in the settlements.

Actually, I'm reminded of very early on, when the Hungarians (I think) kept on using spies which constantly reinfected North Italy with plague over and over until finally my own defensive spies managed to kill them all off. Very annoying, that.

I'd guess that it's the result of the plague spread by trade. If the AI doesn't build many health buildings, it's likely to have frequent plagues, and it's likely to spread through trade. But if you conquer almost whole map and keep your cities clean, you don't get so many plagues. Does it make sense?

Maybe you are mismanaging it. Don't forget that characters, including captains, generals and agents, can get infected too, and infect the city in turn just by passing through it. So if a plague erupts in a settlement, if you keep any character in it (garrisson exluded), it can create a perpetual infection. If a city "heals" before character in it does, it'll get reinfected by character, and if character happens to heal before the city in which he is, he'll get reinfected too. This also affects other factions' spies, so a hidden spy might serve as a biological weapon.
