Thread: Changing unit costs?

    Default Changing unit costs?

How do you change unit costs please? I've searched through the data packs but can't find the appropriate file for unit costs, only for unit properties. Thanks in advance.

It is in main_units table. Recruit cost, upkeep cost and MP cost.

    Thanks Steph for your reply.
Although the game is on my other computer, and I don't have access to the relevant Pack File Manager on this PC, I think I remember that the "main_units" table that you refer to, comes up as one of the few "red" ones, which I can't seem to edit. Any of the non "red" files I can open, but not the few "red" ones.
I thought that it might be this file, but as I say, I can't seem to open it, (as it is one of the few "red" files).
Your answer suggests that I should be able to open up that file. Any idea of how I might, please.

Thanks again for you help so far.

What tool are you using, PFM? Maybe you need to update the schema, the table could have been updated with the latest DLC it maybe red if you have an older installation of the editor.

I'm using RPFM and can open it easily.

Hello again Steph. Ok now! I have got PFM 5.0, but it wouldn't update by it's self. So I found a "schema" update, downloaded the most recent, and unpacked it to the PFM 5.0 file. Am now able to open everything.
    Thanks again for your suggestions.
