It's most likely your strict browser settings. No virus there, neither in the zip file nor in the sav file.

I've run a number of turns. I haven't seen any historical event. It seems that for one reason or another, the file containing historical events (with those that are not included in the script) has not been loaded at the beginning of the game. There might be something wrong with your installation, I haven't seen other players complaining at this aspect. It is also not possible (afaik) that a bug in coding of the script or any other file would cause it.

Apart from it, it looks like a successful game - conquering Britain in 80 years, no signes of revolt whatsoever. One may play a peaceful strategy from now on. I wonder if you have experienced a rebellion in Wales? Or maybe I haven't coded it yet... Perhaps. But I've coded the Prussian revolt, maybe somebody else has seen it?

lol. crazy. i should've done that. i instead cleared all the rebel nobles right away, and tried to hunker down and start building hard. i probably should've done what you did. wouldn't be a satisfying game for me though to conquer england that fast, i'm playing scotland because i want to struggle as a "lesser" medieval country. i still killed off england too fast though, before the scottish wars of independence, right before bombards are available now. without england i dont really know what to do or if i want to continue

thats strange because this save is on a fresh install, I unzipped it to my mod folder, ran the file that allows MTW II to use more gigs, was there a missing step?

Looks ok. I don't know what could happen .

yeah its there, hmm thats wierd the file seems to be in order I wonder what caused it not to load? when starting a game am I supposed to click early era or High era->next and select a nation from that screen?

nope, it should simply work as you run the game. I have no idea how it was possible it didn't load for you. Never seen it. However, the files is loaded only at the beginning of the game, so it's not possible to include it now into your game :-(

no, Konungahalla is coded in another file (script).
you should be able to get this one:

redownloaded SSHIP, unzipped it, ran the LAA and the Bin file cleaner, started brand new game off launching with the BAT file, started early campaign as france, 10 turns in still neither of those events popped up
