    Default Installing BB

For some reason as short and simple as they are I cannot understand how to get this mini mod working.

Can I get a little more of a detailed step by step please.

I already have DLV 6.2 installed

that´s the direct quote from BB´s first post: follow step by step and DLV 6.2+BB4.36 should be playable
maybe extracting on the desctop and then drag+drop into your mods/ folder can solve the problem

Windows 8, Windows 7 and Vista Users:

If you experience problems with CTDs which cannot be reproduced:

    1) Disable UAC (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/w...#1TC=windows-7)

    2) Install M2TW to it's own folder e.g. c:\M2

If you already installed it then you can probably just copy (or drag/move) the game folder into the root and rename it 'm2' - Seems to work fine for me.

    3) Take ownership of the c:\M2 folder and it's subfolders

To take ownership of a file or folder
--1 Open Windows Explorer, and then locate the file or folder you want to take ownership of.
--2 Right-click the file or folder, click Properties, and then click the Security tab.
--3 Click Advanced, and then click the Owner tab.
--4 Click Edit, and then in the Change owner to box, click your user name.
--5 To change the owner of all subcontainers and objects within the tree, select the Replace owner on subcontainers and objects check box.

    4) Extract the contents of DLVBBv4.35.exe to your game folder (e.g. c:\m2)

    5) If required extract the contents of the update to C:\M2\mods\dlv_ext

Thanks for getting back I got it working though there is ctds usually after a big battle. I pick it back up after the ctd from the auto save and it plays right through every time.
Other than that its seems very stable. I didn't not follow these instructions all the way though so thats probably the issue id guess. I will try to do these step by step when I get a little time.

you can try to lower your graphics.
long battles use much ram and after 1 hour of gameplay + big battle the game tends to ctd.
did you try the 4gb patch? if not this would very likely fix for your crashes

Is the 4gb patch 4.36? if so then yes I have that installed.

No, it's a modification of the medieval2.exe or kingdoms.exe that allows the file to utilize more than just 2 GB of your RAM, thus increasing the game's stability.
