This will be a very exciting campaign. The city of Milan is rebel under the Golden Ambrosian Republic. Francesco Sforza must now conquer the city of Milan in order to be crowned as Duke and restore the Duchy of Milan.
The House of Visconti is now replaced by the House of Sforza. Lots of famous Sforza characters will be present.

The Battle of Caravaggio (1448)
The player starts as Francesco Sforza and will have to first fight the historical battle of Caravaggio against Micheleto Attendolo. Then Sforza will need to take Milan in order to be crowned as Duke of Milan and restore the Duchy.
It is a yes/no event so that the battle starts when the event window is closed.

Florence
Florence will be a very interesting faction to play as it has 3 settlements in Italy but also one settlement in Greece. Historically, the Florentine family of Acciaiuoli acquired the Duchy of Athens and were involved in the struggle to maintain their possession against the Ottoman onslaught.

Cosimo de Medici - faction leader
As the Medici family did not officially have a position in the administration of Florence but actually ruled the state behind the scenes we have introduced the ancillary for the faction leader of Florence as First Citizen of Florence. This is a modern historiographical term that is used by historians to refer to Cosimo and later Lorenzo as unofficial rulers of Florence.

There will be several new factions with modified rosters based on old ones, others with brand new units. Don't forget that we have a bunch of late game units activated by events so in the end the battles will look a bit different in the late version, with all the heavy pavise infantry, landsknechts, stradiots, late heavy cavalry, new unique mercenaries etc.

Just a small suggestion - Stefan Crnojević should not have the title of Despot. Its a pretty major and important title, and only the Roman Emperor has the right to bestow it (the kings of Hungary usurped this right when there were no more Roman Emperors in Constantinople). To my knowledge, Stefan was never crowned Despot.
