do you need to demolish middle eastern buildings if you play as christian?

I am playing as Venice, i captured a castle in Africa, all the buildings are "middle eastern", do i need to demolish some of them and rebuild them as "christian"? i remember in Vanilla you had to do that i think....

Not really, iirc. The temples are automatically demolished, the other buildings are shared between factions, and they will work as expected. In particular the Landowners buildings - I would like to introduce differences (eg schools), but it's just a plan for the future.
