I had 1:1 odds, superior troops but surprisingly could only muster an average victory.

Unfortunately I will have to resign from this hotseat for the next two months. I don't have time to effectively play my turns and Syracuse should sub me until I can return or a replacement in found.....

It will definitely not be fair if Syracuse controls those two factions next to each other thus having one big empire. Therefore, I recommend that Vipman takes Carthage until themzr return or a replacement is found.

I too don't agree with Syracuse sub, they are neighboring factions. If no one else shows up we can either wait for Dr Mac or we let the PC take over

Any player can appoint as sub whoever he wants, even an enemy if he trusts him enough. But yes it's not right for a faction to be subbed for too many turns.

I put Carthage as available, if anyone knows someone who would like to join it would be great. I'll sub in a few hours to keep it going.
