MSI afterburner OSD doesn't show anymore with stainless steel

I recently reinstalled medieval 2 and now my onscreen displays showing gpu temp and framerate are not showing if i use my native screen resolution 1366x768 but if i switch to 1360x768 or any smaller it works through in video settings in game. I've reformatted and reinstalled medieval 2 and stainless three times now but still no luck. The OSD works fine in the normal game at any resolution, it seems like only stainless steel is affected at my resolution.

Before my first reinstall I was running medeival 2 on my 1366x768 resolution with OSD working perfectly.

any help on this topic? does anyone use a different program for onscreen display?

in the default.cfg located in ss6.3 i just added a # infront to autoBorderlessMode=false, windowed=false, and borderless_window=false
