    Thanks for the thorough response! This certainly explains the diplomat issue, so if you play Serbia, you essentially want to take a city asap and make it your capital (else you won't be able to recruit diplomats). As for priests, not sure why I wasn't able to train them in Ras then, considering that castles can built the first two tiers of churches (I think?), but hopefully this will be fixed in the new 0.98!

    I Agree with Po0gles, you can't train agents.
    In my HRE campaign, i have 3 priests and 2 merchants. One merchant got acquired and I wasn't able recruit it back again.

    Does Unit "Sword Mailed knight" and "Dismounted sword mailed knight" suppose to cost 0 to recruit and be recruitable in one turn?

    ad 1 - this is intended, all types got heavily cut down in numbers. It's explained in the pop-out windows, but they'll pop-out during first 40 turns (and even later).
    Merchants - a few factions have at the beginning more merchants than maximum (to balance the budget), so after losing one, a new one cannot be recruited.
    ad. 2 - the typology is to be read here, it's indeed 0.

    Somehow got the serbia campaign working again for now, but I've been getting unspecified error upon fighting on battle map against the byzantine empire . It only seems to happen in some battles, so I suppose it has to do with a certain unit model? I will attach a bit of the log below:

    It seems to be related to the lack of texture I had reported on my thread.


    I suggest you install KCC 0.9.6 beta which fixes this error and replaces some new muslim units.

    Yeah, coincidentally i fixed this just now myself, it seems the missing "gs_kmail_kmail_serbia.texture" caused the crash, inserting the one you provided in your 0.96 version fixed it! However now the battle is crashing at the end, after deciding what to do with the prisioners. Man, this campaign is cursed .

    I fought and won the same battle twice and ransomed both times. Both times, the game gave me the infamous "unspecified error". I was fighting against plenty of generals, not sure if that's relevant. Anyways, here's a bit of the log, maybe someone here is able to interpret this, i'm at a loss here unfortunately

    Ouch ! I guess the problem comes from a bad compatibility of your campaign with the addition of the campaign_script file in data / world / maps / campaign / imperail_campaign


    Do you have a backup of this file?
    If not, try replacing it with this one: campaign_script - Avant pape.rar
    Rename it to replace the current campaign_script

    just curious, does the campaign will always stop at turn 8 regardless? since when it rolls to the rebel faction the game froze and quits.

    sad i thought i can play more than 8 turns in this game

    Can you post your log and savegame, and tell us which version you're using? I'll could then look into it, it is not meant to crash repeatedly at turn 8!

    It is sure that mixing two different version is a recipe for CTD. Did you have faction leader and/or heir in the enemy army? there is some bug related to that we still have to patch.

    There were 3 generals in total, I think 2 family members and 1 general in that army; it didn't say "heir" or "faction leader" though. For now I just decided to autoresolve that particular battle, haven't had any further crashes after battlemap fights so far, thankfully.

    Not sure if its just me but it seems England's Yeoman Archers are unavailable to recruit in the campaign. I dont see them in the export_descr_buildings file for recruitment either.

    Also I noticed regular (Longbowmen) and (Retinue Longbowmen) both unlock at the TRANSITIONAL ARMOR event which is a bit odd progression wise with the missing Yeoman Archers.
    Furthermore, there is an ENGLISH_ARCHERS event but it doesn't seem to be connected to triggers for building recruitment of English archers.

    I would propose for a fix.

    i didn't work on the units so I can't say for sure, but I think this lack of Yeoman archers is due to historicity. Or maybe is needs to be adressed, others in the team will have a better answer than mine! But anyway thanks for the report/suggestion.
