CTD To Good to Be True...!!

First i must say that i love this mod best mod for ETW but i can't play it anymore!!! I play with the British 1700 with a lot of game options and VDM all going well i am in 1705 and i went for a battle with a smal army Colonial Line Infantry - millitia - Royal American unit and more vs a French one unit army in Arcadia but CTD. Now i can't even load the mod and CTD when i see the ETW logo! Any help fix patch or a work arround something to help me continue my game i don't want to start all over and have this problem again too good to be true i guess!!???? Thanks in advance guys!???

I also had problems with CTDs while loading battles after having loaded a savegame. The problem was that I hadn't copied the VDM_saves directory into Empire Total War - solved it for me...
