I've noticed that the Ottomans when they send an embassy, have peace as a priority.
Rebel Khan Guard have general model for western knight/noble (will screenshot later).
Thanks yeap we've seen that all good no need for screenshot
I have noticed playing with Kiev the same "strange diplomatic behavior". I'm in war with Poland but my relationship with her is getting better and better in spite of it.
relations are always going up
I hate to bring bad news, but I just discovered Polish knights horses are silver surfers
Yes I think I know why, they used to be a mercenary unit now they are a regular and they didn't have barded horses previously. They work for Poland, they might be missing textures for some other factions. Do you remember which one, I think it might be Moldova.
Yes it is Moldova
Got it. Just reapply this hotfix and you're good to go

Thank you very much
What year does the French arrive as an emergent faction? and how do I get the Megas Doux ancillary after Notaras dies?

@Muramasa1794 Historically and therefore the mod (I don't speak for) Charles VIII invaded in 1494.
Unfortunately I can't remember the Megas Doux sorry
Yeah the French invasion starts at the historical date of 1494
So about that siege of Constantinople crash... any fixes or ideas?
It seems to be very rare, probably because of the very narrow terrain and lack of room around the city. Make separate saves on turn 21 and 22 and revert back if the game crashes the next turn
So I have the problem that is very strange. I can save and reload games while playing, but if I completely exit out of the game and try to load any previous saves I get a crash to desktop. Any ideas why this is happening?
These are all stability related issues which vary according to each person's computer, what type of medieval 2 they have, how they launch it. So it's hard to know why the crash happens.
This is what I do and don't get a crash:
- have Medieval 2 on steam
- apply large address aware to the .exe (4gb patch)
- launch via steam set launch options
Other people use the Disc version of medieval 2 and it works fine.
When people experience crashes:
- launching via bat but having steam installation
- switching between bat and steam launch
- not having 4gb patch/laa applied
Thanks for the tips! I will give that a try.
My only save is on the end turn, and the autosave file is overwritten, so I think my campaign is lost.
