woow cool georgians gunners indeed. Although I would like if possible you could remodel the Armenian units and perhaps some Cuman units (due to their proximity to the Georgians) and that perhaps it would be easier for you to reuse textures for them.

No, we don't want pkhoveli this time. At first, Guns were expensive. Therefore, such a unit was formed only by King of the kingdom. It is known that the king of Kakheti - Alexander ( kingdom of Kakheti - one Georgian kingdoms after collapse of United Kingdom of Georgia) had a 500-man gunners' unit - Methope. is Better if Georgian gunners appear very late in game. Let's make a Georgian gunner like this
unit name -Methope

I will post the description of the unit in 1-2 days. A military historian friend will write in literary English.Because my English is bad

You can give This conical Misiurka -Methope, some Msakhureuli and some Metsikhovne.
Aznauri, Tadzreuli, Chukhchi - this is already a heavy elite, so it is better to give them other, more protected helmets-wavel type and Turkish-Persian type .
Misiurka is a light helmet. Pkhoveli-give them a low and more face covered misiurka

The body armour i mean. It will be better if i give some surcoat rather than just a chainmail or chest disc
no.
Such clothing - without sleeves - is not seen in later historical paintings, nor in reality. It is more of a Circassian clothing. Let's stay as we have already planned
You can use a chest disc for msakhureuli , aznauri, tadzreuli, chukhchi .Also use laminar armor - with long horizontal plates-for aznauri, tadzreuli, chukhchi

Not at the moment. The mini mod modifies several files other than the EDU and battle_models.modeldb, and some units - such as the "caucasus hillmen" - have been removed, which requires some thought before including this mini mod.
The integration, in addition to being delicate, will take place with @Jurand's approval a little later.
When Umbra finishes the late period units, I will continue work for unit reskin mod.
Caucasian Hillmen? I think levy spearmen and levy archer would be better (with the visual of a Georgian peasant). late Circassian cavalry or Vainakh infantry would be interesting.

Methope
(Description)
Firearms were introduced in Georgia in XV-XVI centuries. Ottomans used cannons and handguns in military campaigns against the Georgian kingdom of Imereti and the principality of Samtskhe. Some of these weapons were captured by the Georgians, but they didn't use them regularly before the 17th century, when the Georgian kings of Kakheti, formed their first musketeer regiment of five hundred strong. Kakheti was a vassal state to Safavid Iran and their armies fought in the wars against the Ottomans in the beginning of the 17th century. Supposedly formation and the tactics of the Kakhetian musketeer regiment were influenced by the Ottoman and the Safavid armies and the Russian Streltsy guard units formed by Ivan IV of Russia.

it's good .
The gunners' helmets would then be replaced by helmets of a later period.
Caucasian hillmen - I think the visuals of the kostic units are better, just the chain coifs and leather furs should be fixed.
Georgian siege vehicles should have service personnel similar to the visuals of Georgian peasants
I'm waiting late period units - for to do detailed reskins. Now I make - helmets, shields and weapons.

Great job @Umbra! I should try your mini-mod in the next few weeks. You propose your own version of the "Caucasus Hillmen" and that's your choice. From a historical point of view, I can't say if they're more accurate than mine. It's a matter of interpretation. The important thing is that they're believable for the player!
I continue to work on late period helmets

Here are the finished late georgian helmets. has its own textures. If you know Blender, you can export textures. If you need it, I will upload the textures separately. On several masked coiffures, it is necessary to cut out the eyes. This is done by cutting textures in Gimp. I'm waiting for the late period unit base - to add textures and weapons to them later
