    Default Cavalry In Woods/Forest

I have always considered that horse units should be penalized in melee in the woods. I know that some units get combat bonuses in woods/snow in vanilla RTW, but is it possible to penalize a unit for melee in certain terrain vs. certain units? Or is that hardcoded?

Cavalry could get more of a shock bonus in open terrain as a sweetener, of course; but they really should be put at a severe disadvantage vs. infantry in the woods.

    Any thoughts?

They do get penalties when attacking in the woods, especially your cavalry is not designed to fight in the woods. My Roman Cavalry have little or no effect on the Germans. I have to fight them in the open field, otherwise I may very well lose the battle.
