Ill go see it for the sake of aishwarya rai (*drools* i just love her)
C'mon guys..even if the film would be in old greek, starring by Plato, it would be still trash
Aishwarya Rai????
Who knew an indian actress would sneak her way in there.
Looks to be more fantastical than historical, skewing too much of what other films have shone light on before and worst of all, it appears to take itself just a bit too seriously.
Growing Up In The Universe <- Check It Out !!!
Shes quite fit, i would.... but she wouldnt be my 1st choice out of movies stars lol
Ah I thought it said The Lost legion for a second.
The trailer was pretty bad. The narration part was what really killed it. If you just took out the narration and use captions it would do a lot better.
As for the movie itself I'll wait for on DVD and probably get it on Netflix when I'm bored.

Don't bother, guys. It's a rather childish action-adventure with some rather campy performances - check out Ben Kingsley's rather out-of-place and hilarious Welsh accent.
Kevin McKidd is in it too, quite bizarre to see him playing a 'Barbarian' when we all know him so well as Lucius Vorenus. He's probably the most fun part of the film, to be honest.
Otherwise it's lightweight nonsense.
OMG these indians spawn out even more movies than babies
The movie was a cheap LOTR, a group of people following a prophecy, mystical sword, bad guys and a little love story yadda yadda yadda ...
Rai was about the only woman in the whole movie and she really sucks at acting (and neither I find her in anyway attractive). She played the super warrior maid ...
But you see a fully equipped legion at the end kicking some ass. That part kept me from calling the movie a waste of time
ok, you see legionaries with segmenta lorica (sp?) at the end, and the movie plays somewhere around 450 AD ... but hey, the whole movie is completely ahistorical, why stop at the end
No matter how pathetic the reviews say the movie is, my love of the book will compel me to watch this, it owns my soul.
Also, is it me or is Livia a tad skinnier and more .... Indian than everyone reading the book imagined her?

I have nothing against the womens movement. Especially when Im walking behind it.
The fact that the movie is rated PG-13 is enough for me not to watch it ...
