    FeaturesThis submod will currently add the following options to the submod manager:

    • Disable Ageing Script
    • Disable Economy Script
    • Disable Looting Script & Besiege Upkeep
    • Disable Death Notifications
    • Disable AI Support Spawn
    • Enable Princess Notifications
    • Disable Interactive Events
    • Disable Emergent Factions & National Uprisings (for each faction / uprising)

    Also: Disable Campaign Script as a measure of last resort

    You will be able to toggle the above options freely in the ss_setup, less hassle, more fun.
    Keep in mind that all the above settings are not savegame compatible.

    Campaign Script Customisation v2.1


    Installation

    Installation is pretty straightforward:

    Download the attached file and extract it on your desktop
    1. Move the extracted data folder into Medieval II Total War\mods\SS6.4
    2. Confirm that you want to merge folders (don't worry, nothing gets replaced)
    3. Run Medieval II Total War\mods\SS6.4\SS_setup.exe
    4. Select your era of choice
    5. Read the descriptions of the new options carefully
    6. Select those to your liking and any other submod you wish to use with it.

    Note: You will need to start a new campaign in order for this to work


    Compatibility
    Standard (vanilla) 6.4 (and the versions above) and early / late campaigns.Not savegame-compatible for rather obvious reasons.
    If your ss_setup generates errors report your submod config here. Then simply rerun ss_setup without selecting this submod and wait for the fix

    Yes it would, if the player wants it that way.

    V1 is up, minus the ability to disable Emergent Factions & National Uprisings. I'll work on that later.

    Well there is one downside to this: the menu gets pretty crowded. Next I'll have to work up an installer so people can only install those tweaks they want to use.

    Excellent idea Bane, +rep. Not only it gives more customs but also it will accelerate the game
    Btw Bane, take my mini submod too for altering the age, even if it's unreal, it's a game and people love to keep their character for a long campaign.

    And as promised v2 is up.

    It still feels a bit sacrilegious to me - guess it is better to play a "light" version of Stainless Steel than no Stainless Steel at all Thanks for the praise everyone. If you have any suggestions, have at it.

    I'd rather have the compilation compatible to 6.4 then all this wouldn't be necessary. As long as it replaces core files the way it does... oh well. In short: No. That said

    are already gone in MSC. The rest should work for early & late campaign. Just try it. And if they don't, it most often is because a trailing whitespace was removed in the MSC version, add it back and you are in business.

    Haven't yet had time to look at BftB2, this is explicitly for early and late campaign so it won't work for any extra campaigns.

    Unless CC messed around with the original campaigns more than I expect him to then it won't cause any problems if you install both.

    BftB2 does change the SS campaign scripts so I actually doubt this is compatible.
