There will be some nice additions in the future but some of it need to be invented yet or are in veeeeeeeeeery early version. Plus as always some factional overhauls. Of course we will take a short break after 1.1 release and some small fixes to it, so probably 1.2 if ever will be released in a year from now, maybe sooner, maybe later.

It is possible a Family Tree of some sort?
Just some random things that have been brought up that may be in 1.2 (no promises here, just speculation):
- Some battle ideas that may fix some of the fundamental issues in the game.
- Redone grand campaign startpos to fix some old issues still around. Possible use of AE's emergent factions.
- Political system overhaul, new political parties for factions, etc.
- Some new playable factions and roster overhauls.
- Look again at AI army compositions and settings to perfect them with the new units.
- Way in the future, Litharion has talked about working with Magnar on some sort of population system.
Those are just things floating around in my head and no promises can be made on any of that
I'm playing with the AE submod. It works perfectly
My Idea: Better Forts for Romans (or for all factions). More historical akurat
If it only would be possible on Rome 2 engine.... ; )

Many thanks for the answers...that´s more then I was expecting..I can´t wait for playing DeI 1.1 with AE.. and ofcourse AE itself on Attila..
How about just playing DeI
aaa....I am picky one....AE on DEI is cherry on top..for me.
and btw I hate manual trow pillum button..)
One wish (in areas of DLC) - extending Imperator Augustus campaign (if possible, of course). Romans were actually quite busy in Pax Romana.
Potential gameplay features (if possible):
- frequent wars for power among roman generals triggered by death of current roman leader, also generals rebelling against emperor, willing to overthrow him
- frequent revolts and rebels (Illyrian revolt, Jewish revolt, German allies revolt)
- wars on borders and fusrther conquest - Dacia, Britannia, Germans (!), Parthian/Sassanid empire (!)
This would be so awesome. The political system is terrible in vanilla.- Political system overhaul, new political parties for factions, etc.
The thing the game lacks most is the "city-building" bit that was so awesome in medieval tw. When I played the EB mod last year, I spent my whole time on that amazing map, improving my cities, economy and infrastructure. It felt so right.
I reckon the building limit thingy is hardcoded?
"Therefore I am not in favour of raising any dogmatic banner. On the contrary, we must try to help the dogmatists to clarify their propositions for themselves. Thus, communism, in particular, is a dogmatic abstraction; in which connection, however, I am not thinking of some imaginary and possible communism, but actually existing communism as taught by Cabet, Dézamy, Weitling, etc. This communism is itself only a special expression of the humanistic principle, an expression which is still infected by its antithesis – the private system. Hence the abolition of private property and communism are by no means identical, and it is not accidental but inevitable that communism has seen other socialist doctrines – such as those of Fourier, Proudhon, etc. – arising to confront it because it is itself only a special, one-sided realisation of the socialist principle."
