How to get DEI for MAC OSX on Steam

Hi,

I've tried to download the two pack version of DEI for non-steam versions of Rome 2 on my Mac steam version of Rome 2 but this results in missing textures in battles (campaign works fine but my unit cards are all messed up). I have tried downloading from Steam and extracting the 6 .pack files from steam/userdata into my data folder, but then I am stuck on the initial loading screen. Interestingly even without editing my user.script.txt file with the correct mod info and simply putting the 6 .pack filed into the data folder the game doesn't start.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I haven't run into this issue before on either of my macs, but DEI doesn't work properly under OS X anyway because the scripts don't work. Unfortunately to play DEI on a mac you will need to use bootcamp or parallels to play it under windows. Rome II runs better using bootcamp but parallels will work.
